A look ahead
Administrators speak out for more community inclusion for their homes

PETERBOROUGH In the past three months, OMNI’s administrators have spoken out on their vision for their homes for the coming year.

In speaking with each administrator for the ‘A Look Ahead’ series, OMNIway asked each home leader where they saw their home positioned in the community, both now and for the coming year. Exactly half of home leaders saw a greater need to ensure their long-term care home was a more viable part of their community. From taking part in more community activities, to raising the profile of their home, to opening it up to other seniors who may need services, eight administrators had a vision for their home that encompassed and brought together the elements of community interaction.
